The philosophy behind our Service Recommendations
Automobile manufacturers face some real constraints when they make their service recommendations.They want their products to last long enough to satisfy the consumer as to their durability, yet not last so long that the car owner doesn't have to buy another car in the "not too distant " future.
In addition, they have to keep their dealership networks' service departments happy by recommending enough services to keep the cars coming into the service bays, yet not so much "service" that a prospective buyer might feel that the car is expensive and unreliable to own.
Being an independent repair shop, we have a lot more flexibility. Our goal is to make you car or truck last as long as it possibly can, as reliably and economically as we are able.
Our maintenance recommendations substantially comply with most factory recommended service intervals. If a manufacturer has specific recommendations that require service more often then ours, it is always best to follow theirs.
Our recommendations are based on more than 20 years of experience consistent with our goal of making our customer's cars last forever. Many of our customers children are driving cars that they bought new when their kids were in kindergarten and are still in good enough condition to pass along to the next generation. We hope we can provide you with the same experience!
