We charge $47 to inspect a car or truck sold in 1996 or later, including diesel cars and trucks. Cars and trucks made from 1976 through 1995 require a test of the Evaporative Emission Control system as well as the basic two speed tail pipe test and inspection. We charge $70 for this test. In both cases the Certificate is $8.25 and is transmitted electronically at no charge to the customer.

We can generally perform the test while you wait. An appointment is necessary but can often be made for the same day.
