San Luis Obispo Auto Repair

I’ve been very satisfied with Morin Brothers. For someone who’s not very knowledgeable about cars ( that would be me) Allena does a wonderful job explaining what I need to know including the $ breakdown. Moron Brothers has a nice website where you can make a appointment and they send you an email for oil changes which is very handy. They have a great reputation, but knowing that, the fact that the office staff is so knowledgeable and helpful (and never make you feel stupid) is one of the main reasons I keep coming back. That, and the fact that I have a 2002 car!

Very friendly front office staff. I did have a problem on the way home after picking up my car when the check engine light came on and acceleration became sluggish. Did not drive it over the weekend and drove it back down to SLO this morning and dropped it off to have it checked.

I traveled from Texas to California a couple of weeks ago. I had car problems the last couple of hundred miles away and made it to San Louis Obispo. I called about half a dozen mechanic shops and either got no answer, answering machines saying leave them a message and they would get back to you in 2-3 days, or rather rude people. I called Morin Brothers and spoke with a very sweet young lady named Stephanie and told her my problem. She told me they were busy and it would be a few days and when I told her I was in from out of state she made arrangements for me to bring my car in to be looked at. They were the nicest people to deal with and very polite. After looking at my car, they told me what they thought might be wrong and had me leave my care. They worked me in and had my car out the next day and made sure I knew how much it was going to be to fix it in advance so no surprises. When you're out of state you never know what you're going to get but these people made you feel comfortable, they were not only nice but you could tell they were upfront and honest to deal with. I can't say enough about Morin Brothers and how honest they were with very good work ethics. I would give them 10 Stars if I could. I give them a 5 star rating even though site won't allow me to. The people at Morin Brothers are extremely organized. Upon entering, there are ready with information about your car- what you are asking to have done as well as any suggestions they may have given the manufacturer's requirement maintenance of your car. We not only take our 2019 car to them but also our 1982 car was well. The work performed has always been good and has exceeded my expectations.

Morin Brothers is the best automotive repair shop in the area. Jesse is great and he has gone above and beyond to help me. My car is old (1998) and I think the reason it’s still running well is due to Morin Brothers’ care. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

From beginning to completion, the work on my car was handled competently and professional ly. It is easy to recommend good service. In fact, I already have.

I was a bit nervous about having someone work on my car, because you always hear horror stories about mechanics. However, Morin Brothers offered excellent service right from the start--I booked an appointment on line and received a friendly call to confirm it, then got an estimate over the phone, and when I took the car in, the work was done promptly and without pressure to have extra work done. Everyone was nice and professional. I would definitely use Morin Brothers again and highly recommend them.
